On Tuesday:
At the beginning of the class, we sang the
“Good afternoon” song that we are trying to learn. It was very good!. Then, we
talked about the weather (on Monday it was crazy! Sometimes sunny, sometimes
cloudy, and sometimes rainy). Then, we watched some videos with songs related
with the numbers: “the numbers song”, “count to ten” and “one, two, buckle my
shoe”. We also watched a new video that we liked a lot “in the big blue sea”.
It’s a very calm and simple song in which we had to count fish, so we loved it!
After that, we played
a counting game and we counted bananas, apples and fish. When we finished this
activity, we felt a little bit tired, so we played a funny game. We stood up,
and repeated the movement that our
teacher did, like “touch your...”, “jump”, “stretch your arms”, “turn around”
and “wiggle your hips”.
On Thursday:
We started the class
sat on a circle and singing the “Good afternoon”. We are improving! Then, in
pairs, we played the “movements game” and we touched our noses, heads, ran,
jumped, turned around and many other things!
After that, the
teacher made us remember the numbers from 0 to 10 and we reviewed the numbers
from 11 to 20. It was very difficult, because even in Spanish it's sometimes
confusing! But we are hard-working students, and we will try to learn them
perfectly! Later, the teacher showed us some basic shapes, like “circle”,
“square”, “triangle” and “rectangle” and in one activity, we painted different
shapes with different colours in the blackboard. Writing in the blackboard like
a teacher is great! Finally, we sang the “In the big blue sea “ song that we
love so much.
